AALHE 2023 Conference Presenter Information

Thank you for submitting a proposal for the 13th Annual AALHE Assessment Conference, AALHE 2023. We deeply appreciate your willingness to contribute to the professional development of assessment practitioners. We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to present your work.

Presenters are asked to confirm their acceptance by March 10, 2023.

Please note if you submitted multiple proposals you will receive multiple emails regarding each proposal. Please be sure to review each email thoroughly as the information provided may vary based on your session type or delivery mode.

To be included on the conference program, all presenters must register for the conference by April 14, 2023. All presenters (coordinating presenters, co-presenters, and panelists) must be registered for your session to remain on the conference program.

Detailed Information for Presenters

Important Notes About Technology and Room Set Up:

  • Presenters must bring a laptop to plug into the projector if they plan to have an audiovisual display for their session such as a PowerPoint or slideshow. Standard HDMI and VGA connections to the projector will be provided. Special adapters for Macs or devices with other connection types beyond HDMI and VGA will not be provided and presenters will need to bring their own adaptors for those types of devices.
  • The room be set up as a theater with capacity for approximately 50; we are unable to accommodate requests for different room set ups.
  • Prepare your session materials using the materials in this Presenter Resources Folder. This folder includes PowerPoint slide templates and Tips for Accessible Presentations and Handouts.
  • Create your presenter profile on Whova and upload your session slides and up to three handouts you wish to share with attendees to the Whova platform by Tuesday, May 31 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. If your session has co-presenters, the Conference Committee will link co-presenter bios to the session. More details will follow with the forthcoming Whova login information.
  • Spread the word about your session! Tag AALHE in your posts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn and by using the #AALHECONF hashtag.

COVID-19 Response and Safety

AALHE’s annual conference is a great way to reengage and learn together, June 6-9, 2022. We are providing placed-based learning in Providence, Rhode Island and online virtually on the Whova platform.  

As AAHLE’s 2022 in-person experience draws near, we have been monitoring trends nationally and in Rhode Island.  We are following the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the State of Rhode Island and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

  • Covid-19 vaccinations and/or negative tests prior to arrival are highly recommended
  • Mask policy will be based on State and CDC guidelines at the time of the conference  
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be accessible throughout the event
  • The event site follows the hotel's Marriot Comittment to Clean policies.
